Registration for the 2021 Spring Season is now closed. We are currently accepting waitlist registrations for each division. While we cannot guarantee placement on a team, some spots will open up as teams are formed and if any registered players drop. These spots will be filled based on the priority order of the waitlist only.
Based on the current direction of our county and city, we are all hoping we are on the right path and are slowly getting there with getting field access both with parks and school and have a path forward for being able to compete again by the start of our spring season.
Due to this, there are a lot of adjustments and contingencies we have to keep in mind while we prepare for this season. Please read this message completely regarding the league approach and plan for the spring season and registration.
Once registration is closed, you may still submit a registration, but the player will be placed on a waitlist. There is no guarantee that we will be able to place all waitlisted players. They will be filled based on division and team needs based on final roster sizes or player drops.
Moorpark Little League is also aware that there is still a lot of uncertainty to the coming season, but are taking a staged approach. We currently can practice in single team cohorts only with a path / plan to play competitvley in March.
While we are anticipating being able to start our competitive season this spring, we are taking a cautious approach as well. When registration opens, you will need to select to use the “payment plan” option. Only a $25.00 fee is required per player at time of registration. The remaining registration costs will not be due until January 27th and will be split in thirds for three payments (Jan. Feb. and Mar.) We are delaying the registration payment due dates to ensure we have the permission to compete.
The $25.00 fee at time of registration is not refundable and is required in order to pay for the League Charter, League Insurance, annual account costs and other up-front charges required for the league to operate.
The remaining registration fees will be refundable up until uniforms have been ordered.
UPDATE: The board has approved to update the refund policy. Refunds will now be provided after uniforms are ordered minus the cost of the uniform. All other upfront costs / decisions will not be approved until season play has been approved.
You also have an option to purchase registration insurance at time of registration, this is a 3rd party option that is offered through the company that hosts Moorpark Little League’s registration site. Please read their policy closely if you want to add that to your registration order. Any claims would go through their required process in the event it is needed. Details can be found at the “check out” section of the registration.
Before registering, if you have questions about Moorpark Little League player divisions, league ages, costs, etc. Please go to the Moorpark Little League website (www.moorparkll.com) and read the section under “Divisions” (Spring Season) and the FAQ section under “More” (FAQ) these sections should answer most questions.
If you have any additional questions, please send them to email@example.com.
